I like to do woodworking and if I make a lot of wood projects how can I go about selling them on e bay?

Please,someone let me know the steps I have to take and what is the cost of membership and what are the rules?

Ebay is probably the best place to go, just because they are the biggest; lots of people don’t even know that those other sites exist.

First you will need an ebay account, which is quite easy to set up on their website. You will need a credit card to open the account. They do NOT charge you to join; the credit card is just so they can easily process the charges you incur when you list an item.

Next you will need pictures of your items. Make sure you ahve a mix of close-up and far-away shots so people can appreciate the detail and workmanship.

Next you go to your eBay account and click on Sell. Their online tools will walk you through listing the item; it’s very easy. They help you pick the right category to put the item in (if you make birdhouses, you probably want to put it in Home and Garden, for example) and next you type your description, starting price, etc. You get to add 2 pictures for free (again, their online tools make it really easy) and can add even more for a small fee; you can also use their fancy listing decorations for a little more if you want. That’s it. Now you just wait for someone to buy the item.

eBay will charge you whether or not the item is sold; it’s just a couple of dollars and you will see how much the listing fee is, before you commit to your listing. If you get a buyer, eBay will also take a small percentage of the final sales price. This gets billed right to your credit card.

If you wish to accept PayPal payments (most buyers expect that you will) go to paypal.com and their website will walk you through the process. This will let you take credit card payments online without having a Visa Merchant account.

Tiger Woods, golf’s greatest, hasn’t been able to win any of the last four major tournaments he has participated in. The player, who has faced doubts since his knee surgery last year, has won several victories this year, but has apparently lost his touch in the past weeks. Two weeks ago, Woods lost at Hazeltine in the US Open, and as a result, lost the PGA Championship this year. aEoeThe entire year, you work hard, say you won 25 tournaments this year, it doesn’t really matter, Woods said.

The last few weeks have also added several points. Woods won the Buick Open in Michigan; he had an incredible winning streak in Akron, as well. He completed three weeks of golf in a row, playing every day; it wasn’t a surprise, then, that he said he was tired and took a few days away from golf. Now, Woods is preparing for the FedEx Cup at The Barclays, the first time he has attended since 2003.

He will be opening at the Westchester Country Club. The FedEx Cup offers an additional 2,500 points for the winner aE” 2,000 points more than the average major. Woods, as the points leader, can’t afford to miss the tournament. Nor is the FedEx Cup deficient in financial incentives: $10 million.

The prize seemed the primary motivation for another top player, Phil Mickelson, who is on the road towards becoming Player of the Year. Mickelson, however, isn’t the only one aiming for votes from his fellow players. Woods is also looking at Player of the Year; with five wins under his belt, he has a chance. “Playing well at the end of the year in the big events, that can swing votes, because usually guys remember what you’ve done later in the year,” Woods said. However, the final challenge for the FedEx Cup will not be an easy one, not for Wood or any other golfer. The course, Liberty National, is located near Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty, and was chosen for its picturesque scenery. The course itself, however, is essentially millions of tons of dirt, clay, and plastic covering an old oil refinery. aEoeThey are tough,aE Woods said of the greens. aEoeThey are going to be severe this week.aE
